Ellington Park is a Victorian 12 acre park with over 400 trees and rolling Victorian landscape and was set out by landscape designer Cheal & Son in 1893. In 2021 the park was lovingly restored and improved by The Friends of Ellington Park and Thanet District Council with the support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, creating a new multipurpose café and toilet building, new playground and pathways, fully restored terrace, balustrades and bandstand and heritage planting.

The café and toilets are open six days a week (Tuesday to Sunday) 10am -4pm (later in the summer).
