Town Council
Ramsgate Town Council employs sixteen staff and has sixteen councillors from seven wards; Central Harbour, Eastcliff, Northwood, Nethercourt, Newington, Pegwell and Sir Moses Montefiore.
Ramsgate Town Council has four committees; Asset Management, Finance & General Purposes, Planning & Infrastructure and Town Promotion, which looks after various business for Ramsgate. There are also four working groups; Climate Change Task Group, Grant Scrutiny, Town Enhancement and Visit Ramsgate.
