Standing with Giants to Commemorate Dunkirk with 338 Silhouettes in Ramsgate This May, the historic harbour at Ramsgate will become the setting for a powerful and moving tribute as Standing with Giants installs 338 life-sized silhouettes along the quayside, honouring the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of those involved in the Dunkirk evacuation of 1940.

Please join us to commemorate Armed Forces Day and show our support and appreciation for the Armed Forces community. The Parade begins at 10.40am from Military Road, down Harbour Parade, and ending at the Turning Circle. There will be a Drumhead Service at 11am at the Turning Circle, before the Parade resumes at approximately 11.40am.
