Patricia Moore

Years Elected: 2014, 2023, 2024

History:
1. Councillor Patricia Moore became the 65th Mayor of Ramsgate at the
Annual Council Meeting on 7th May 2014. At the Annual Town Council
Meeting on 17th May 2023 Councillor Patricia Moore was elected as
Mayor of Ramsgate, and re-elected on 1st May 2024.

2. The Mayor has lived in Ramsgate for 43 years and has a longstanding
interest in local issues.

3. The Mayor has been Deputy Mayor four times and also escort to Kay
Dark, Former Chairman of Thanet District Council.

4. The Mayor is a member of Ramsgate Twinning Association and also a
member of Montefiore Heritage Association.

5. In her spare time the Mayor knits clothing for the special care baby
unit in Margate hospital.

6. The Mayor learnt to drive when she was 64 and recently learnt to
paint in oils.

7. The Mayor has seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

fascinating subject. I have met many interesting people in my time as
Mayor, it has been a privilege and an honour to serve as Mayor. I would
