Closures will be imposed to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Dumpton Lane will be closed from the railway bridge to outside number 19.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Dumpton Lane, College Road, Cecilia Road, A255 Hereson Road, Ramsgate Road, West Dumpton Lane and vice versa.
Sherwood Gardens will be closed from outside number 2 to the junction of Dumpton Lane.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Sherwood Gardens, Shirley Avenue, West Dumpton Lane, Dumpton Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing gas works to be carried out, works are undertaken by SGN.
