Temporary Road Closure - Various Roads

Closures will be imposed in 6 phases, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Phase 1 - From 4th January 2027, with estimated completion by 2nd April 2027.
Crescent Road will be closed as a rolling closure, between the junctions of Grange Road and Richmond Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Crescent Road, West Cliff Road, B2054 London Road, Grange Road and vice versa.
Phase 2 - From 18th January 2027, with estimated completion by 29th January 2027.
Dundonald Road will be closed at the junction of Crescent Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Dundonald Road, Ellington Road, Grange Road, Dundonald Road and vice versa.

Phase 3 - From 1st February 2027, with estimated completion by 12th February 2027.
Picton Road will be closed at the junction of Crescent Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Picton Road, Ellington Road, Grange Road, Picton Road and vice versa.
Phase 4 - From 15th February 2027, with estimated completion by 26th February 2027.
South Eastern Road will be closed at the junction of Crescent Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via South Eastern Road, Ellington Road, Grange Road, South Eastern Road and vice versa.

Phase 5 - From 22nd February 2027, with estimated completion by 5th March 2027.
Duncan Road will be closed at the junction of Crescent Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Duncan Road, Ellington Road, Grange Road, Vale Road, Cumberland Road, Duncan Road and vice versa.

Phase 6 - From 8th March 2027, with estimated completion by 19th March 2027.
Cordington Road will be closed at the junction of Crescent Road.
Coronation Road will be closed at the junction of Crescent Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cordington Road, Ellington Road, Grange Road, Vale Road, Cumberland Road, Coronation Road and vice versa. 
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing gas works to be carried out, works are undertaken by SGN.
