Next Steps
Ramsgate Town Council will now:
  1. Compile and submit the consultation findings to Kent County Council (KCC), Thanet District Council (TDC), and Kent Police, highlighting the key areas that need attention.
  2. Work with KCC to review the TRO and explore potential amendments to improve safety, accessibility, and traffic flow in the town centre.
  3. Engage with enforcement authorities to improve compliance with current restrictions while longer-term solutions are considered.

Chair of the Planning & Infrastructure Committee, Councillor Makinson said: "We are very grateful to everyone who shared their views on this important issue. Your feedback gives us a clear picture of where the TRO is working and where changes are needed. We will ensure these concerns are raised with the relevant authorities to deliver practical improvements for our town centre."
