Have you got a bit of spare time on your hands?
Do you want to meet new people and get out and about?
Try out a free club with Thanet Trust.
Maybe our History Club, or Reminiscing Club as we call it, is for you? Where you can talk about your memories of Ramsgate, and have a nice cup of tea and good company while you’re there!
If you’ve got the creative bug, our Craft Club will help you channel that energy and escape the everyday.
Or how about our Friendship Club? It’s a welcoming place for all people to come together, no matter their different interests, to make new friends.
At Thanet Trust, all of our clubs are free to attend. Whether you have a specific interest, or you just want to meet new people, that’s what our clubs are for. If you want a place where you can talk about memories of days gone by, share in laughter about comical moments, and learn some interesting facts about Ramsgate – our History Club is the place for you. It runs on Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons at the Hereson Community Centre.
Or maybe you want to step into your creative side. With all the supplies you could need provided by us, come along to meet new people and let your creative juices flow on Tuesday afternoons and Friday mornings at the Hereson Community Centre.
It could be that you just fancy getting out of the house. If that’s the case, head to Tesco Westwood Cross (upstairs in the Community Section) on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month for our Friendship Club.
With everything we run, we will ensure you get the best tea, coffee, and, importantly, good biscuits. You’ll meet a friendly bunch of people who will welcome you with open arms and a smile. So, what are you waiting for? We’ll see you soon!
