RTC Technician Update

Home / About Ramsgate / News / RTC Technician Update

13 July 2022

In addition to their normal workload, the Ramsgate Town Council Technicians have litter picked Ellington Park, collecting two armchairs, a shopping trolley, shop sign, a tent, a pallet and lots of glass. They also litter picked at Charlotte Court, the seating area opposite St. Laurence Church and at Cannon Road.

They have cut the grass at the allotment sites and secured the padlocks to the gates. The Technicians have also cut the grass at Broad Street and Eskdale Avenue, strimming and weeding the areas.

The Technicians have weeded the flower beds in town and have emptied three planters ready to dropped off to the volunteers at the Sea Garden at the bottom of the cliff at Winterstoke on the Eastern Promenade.

The Technicians also cut back a fallen tree in Montefiore Woodland and collected three tonne sacks of green waste from St. Laurence Parish Hall.

All requests for street cleaning and repairs should be directed to technicians@ramsgatetown.org to ensure that they don’t undertake work that is the responsibility of other organisations such as Thanet District Council or Kent County Council.
