Key Updates - Town Promotion Committee (Events) Meeting

• An allocation of £20,000.00 was made from the events fund budget for Jubilee celebrations around Ramsgate.


• The granted of £3,000.00 was approved from the Events Fund to the Ramsgate Old Motor & Motorcycle Club for the event of The Great Bucket and Spade Run.


• The granted of £3,000.00 was approved from the Events Fund to the Ramsgate Tunnels for the event of Platinum Jubilee Celebration.


• The granted of £4,000.00 was approved from the Events Fund to the Ramsgate International Film and TV Festival for the event of the same name.


• The granted of £2,500.00 was approved from the Events Fund to the Miss Ramsgate Organisation for the event of the Selection Dance, Carnival Dance and ongoing events attended by Miss Ramsgate.


• The granted of £1,500.00 was approved from the Events Fund to the Royal Temple Yacht Club for the event of Ramsgate Week.


• The granted of £2,000.00 was approved from the Events Fund to the MDS Marine for the event of a two-day pop-up museum for the Rooswijk remains to be on public display.


• The granted of £3,000.00 was approved from the Events Fund to the Ramsgate Carnival for the event of the same name.


• The granted of £750.00 was approved from the Events Fund to the Ramsgate Bowls Club for the event of the Ramsgate Bowls Club Tournament.


• The granted of £2,000.00 was approved from the Events Fund to the Extra Normal Records for the event of Contra Pop.


• The granted of £2,000.00 was approved from the Events Fund to the Friends of Ellington Park for the event of Opera in the Park.
