Active Ramsgate New 18.04.2018
New staycation guide details huge variety of activities for couples, singles and families.

Active Ramsgate has launched a new guide for visitors to see the breadth of outdoor leisure activities on offer on the Ramsgate coast.

Active Ramsgate is an initiative of Ramsgate Town Council promoting Ramsgate and the coast as an active outdoor leisure destination.

With the UK being THE destination to travel to this summer, Ramsgate is under two hours’ drive from London and easily accessible from surrounding counties via fantastic high-speed rail links.

Its beautiful coastline, stunning beaches and bays, nature and cosmopolitan vibe make it one of the undiscovered gems of Kent to visit, and with it being one of the sunniest parts of the UK, it’s the perfect coastal resort for an outdoors socially distanced staycation this year.

The guide features kitesurfing and paddleboarding lessons and group paddles, themed walking trails taking in bays, heritage and nature, small group sea Kayaks, cycle trails, along with guided birdwatching tours, golf, tennis and pickleball, scuba diving and boat trips to see seals and prolific birdlife. So get active and be inspired on an active break on the Ramsgate coast.

The guide is free to download from the Active Ramsgate website and includes all of these outdoor activities, where to book, accommodation and food and drink options.
