Kent Police 20.10.2017
It is always a pleasure to write another article for the Ramsgate Town Council Community Ad Magazine. I am PCSO John Litchfield, the Police Community Support Officer for Central Harbour, Cliffsend, Nethercourt and Pegwell. Myself and PC Hitchcock, the Ramsgate Town Beat Officer, are to be joined this year in Ramsgate by three new PCSOs, covering various wards in Ramsgate, which is good news for us and all of Ramsgate. You will see us out and about in Ramsgate, keeping everyone up to date with Kent Police activities.

Please feel free to stop any of us at any time and raise any concerns you have or just to say hello.

The Ramsgate Police Station, in York Street, is open Monday to Friday from 9am – 5pm. When the Station is shut, there is a yellow phone attached to the wall that can be used to report any incidents with direct contact to the Kent Police Control Room.

Kent Police have just started an online service were crimes can be reported via the Kent Police website. This is becoming ever more popular and is an additional service to 101 and 999.

I will be holding my monthly surgery at Ramsgate Library and would like to thank all at the Library for their hospitality when I have a surgery. My surgeries will be at the same times again this year; 10:30am – 11:30am, where I will do my best to see everyone on a first come first served basis. Please keep an eye out in the town for posters, on Twitter, and the Kent Police website for upcoming dates.

The first surgery of 2018 will be on February 14.

I will also be at the Neighbourhood Engagement Meeting on February 20 at the Glo Hub, Brunswick Court, Hardres Street.
