Ramsgate Croquet Club would love to welcome you!

Although the summer is coming to an end at Ramsgate Croquet Club, we carry on playing until Christmas and encourage new members throughout the year.

The club is situated on the Royal Esplanade next to the Bowling Club and Boating Pool and has four immaculately kept lawns and a welcoming clubhouse.

We are a friendly group of people who enjoy playing the game. We have members who simply want to have fun, meet people and get some exercise in the outdoors as well as those who are a bit more competitive and play in competitions around the county and further afield. We are always happy to see new faces and will offer tuition and support if you are new to the game.

Croquet is a great game enjoyed by all ages, abilities and levels of experience. It’s an ideal game for people who may find some sport quite challenging but who want to be active, healthy and meet new people.

We also have a small junior section who play every Sunday with tuition from our coaches. If there are any young people who might be interested in trying the game, please get in touch.

If you would like to try it out, please just pop down to the club on our club days - Tuesdays or Thursdays, where there will always be a friendly face ready to introduce you to the game. No special equipment is required, just a pair of flat shoes or trainers. We have mallets for your use, and we offer free taster sessions for people who want to find out more about the game.

For those interested in joining the club and developing their croquet skills further, we offer guidance by qualified club coaches and a range of membership options.
