It’s been a busy summer for Active Ramsgate!
The last week of May saw the re-launch of Active Ramsgate Week, which was a chance for residents and visitors alike to try out the range of outdoor activities we have on offer – for free.
Over eight days, we had 15 different activities scheduled – with sessions ranging across our main themes of walking, cycling, exploring, watersports and wellbeing.
More than 400 participants applied for places to take part, and we had visitors from across Thanet, Kent and London joining the fun.
It was such a success that we hope to make this a regular, annual event – so look out again next year to get involved.
In July, we also launched our refreshed directory of activities. Whether you’re a walker, two-wheeler or a wave-maker, there is something for everyone! So, grab a copy from the Visitors Information Centre on Harbour Parade, or download your copy at:

As we come to the end of the high season, we’re looking ahead to build on the success of Active Ramsgate Week for next year and to continue to develop the range of outdoor pursuits.
