Step into Spring with East Kent Mencap’s Spring Forward Challenge!

East Kent Mencap, a local charity dedicated to supporting people with a learning disability, is excited to announce the launch of its annual Spring Forward Challenge. This campaign, now in its third successful year, was originally created by individuals with a learning disability who use the charity's services.

The Spring Forward Challenge is a fundraising campaign that encourages participants of all backgrounds and abilities to select an activity or embark on a new project, ranging from cooking and crafting to engaging with nature and physical exercise.

What makes this challenge different is its emphasis on celebrating individuality; each challenge is tailored to recognise the strengths and interests of participants. By undertaking these challenges, individuals not only contribute to fundraising efforts for East Kent Mencap, but also have the opportunity to learn new skills and develop confidence.

The challenge is open to everyone, not just those with a learning disability, and supporters are encouraged to participate. Please consider dedicating a challenge, whether it’s a marathon, cycling race, or a coffee morning with friends, to East Kent Mencap to enable people with a learning disability to achieve what they want out of life.
