News / Ramsgate Through the Senses (May 17 – 19, 2024)
Our third festival takes on spring: its tastes, sounds and blossoms, bringing with it the welcome opportunity to rejuvenate all of one’s senses!
Something for all ages and tastes - foraging with Nick Robinson, floral puppet making workshops run by James Frost and a cyanotype (photographic printing) workshop hosted by Melanie King.
A tutored tasting with Jo Ginn from The Wine Garden of England will show you how tastes change depending on the glass you use, or for those chocoholics amongst you, the chance to delve into the depths of chocolate with chef Jessica Leah.
A Thanet-based choir will perform in a central Ramsgate location, and we’ll be travelling further afield with guided woodland walks and seal spotting.
Our gala dinner will once again be created by Nomada chef, Bruce Stratford, and we look forward to working with him, local venues and suppliers to bring our festival to life.
Working with Social Enterprise Kent, there will be nutrition and cooking workshops, reflecting the cost-of-living crisis, and nature-based experiences to help combat loneliness and boost one’s mental well-being.
Due to popular demand, there will be another throw down session with ceramicist Mike Child, as well as holistic therapies and immersive experiences to inspire the mind and body.
Keep an eye on our website, for full programme details.
