In Memory of Del Goddard: A Joint Tribute from Our Community

As we come together to mourn the loss of a dear member of our community, Del Goddard, we want to honour his memory by capturing the profound impact he had on various aspects of our shared endeavours.

Del's contributions to the Ramsgate Neighbourhood Plan were invaluable, and his legacy will be felt as the plan progresses to consultation. Bringing extensive knowledge and skills, Del shared best practices and offered innovative ideas that enhanced the Neighbourhood Plan group's work. His collaborative spirit, coupled with his intellect and willingness to listen, made him a joy to work with. Del's absence has left a void in our efforts, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

The Ramsgate Regeneration Alliance added: ‘Kind, considerate, and passionate about community, Del's input and support for Ramsgate Regeneration Alliance and its individual members was an example to all. He played a key role in the development of the community workshops model which is now being incorporated into the Levelling-Up projects, and inspired many. He will be sadly missed.’

Del's legacy will endure through the impact he made and the lives he touched.
