Ramsgate Croquet Club would love to introduce you to the game of croquet.

We are keen to welcome new members to the club throughout the year. We are situated in a beautiful location on the Royal Esplanade overlooking the sea and are a friendly, welcoming bunch of croquet enthusiasts.

Our club has four immaculately kept lawns and is regarded as one of the most beautiful settings in the country. We host our own events and competitions as well as major tournaments attended by some of the highest-ranking players in the country and, indeed, the world.

Croquet is a lawn game of strategy and skill. Men and women play together - on equal terms - and it is enjoyed by all ages, abilities and levels of experience. It’s an ideal game for people who might find certain sports more challenging but want to be active, get healthy, be out in the fresh air and meet new people.

We run free introductory sessions for people who want to give it a go and find out more about the game.

We host social functions for visiting groups and organisations and have a lovely clubhouse with a licensed bar.

For those interested in joining the club and developing their croquet skills further, we offer guidance of qualified club coaches and a range of membership options.

We would love to introduce you to the game. No equipment is required - mallets are provided and all you need is some flat soled shoes. The croquet season lasts until just before Christmas and starts again in February/March depending on the weather, so there’s still plenty of time to come along and try it out.

For more information, either come down to the club or email jacmyoung@gmail.com or call/text on 07886 930523.
