Kent Police Update - October 2023

Home / About Ramsgate / News / Kent Police Update - October 2023

13 October 2023

I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce the members of our team who work within the wards of Ramsgate. These officers are known as “Beat Officers” who patrol and deal with certain issues that arise in areas allocated to them:
  • PC 13501 HILLS – Central Harbour ward
  • PC 13524 BROWN - Central Harbour ward
  • PC 14848 BALLEN - Eastcliff and Sir Moses Montefiore wards
  • PC 13602 ALBERS - Northwood ward
  • PC 13461 OWEN - Pegwell/Cliffsend, Nethercourt and Newington wards

We would like to hear from you about any issues you are having: any vulnerable persons living in your area and any reports of outstanding community work that have been done. We truly believe working in partnership with the local community to achieve the same common goal of:

Creating a safe, clean and caring community that we can be proud of and for others to aspire to.

The best way to contact officers is via a new two-way engagement tool used by Kent Police called “MY COMMUNITY VOICE” often referred to as MCV. MCV is our way of alerting residents about crime that is happening in our area, launching appeals, releasing surveys and providing general crime prevention advice. MCV is most effective when there are lots of people involved and so I urge you all to take a few moments of your time and sign up to MCV by scanning the QR Code.

I hope you all had a great summer, and we all look forward to working together for the second part of the year.
