/ Visitor Information Centre
Ramsgate's Visitor Information Centre, located at the Custom House in Harbour Parade, is funded by Ramsgate Town Council (RTC) and managed by five volunteers. They operate in shifts to provide a seven-day-a-week service.
The volunteers collect local and national brochures for distribution to Ramsgate visitors and locals. This and other information is on display within the VIC.
The VIC supports Ramsgate leisure activities by promoting what is on offer, including all local events. They also display the various posters.
The volunteers will assist visitors with whatever needs they have and are always willing to try to answer any questions. They will also provide local directions, maps etc.
Bookings are taken for National Express coach services and Carol Peters bus trips.
The town council is based on the first floor of the Custom House and the VIC also acts as a reception for RTC visitors.
Telephone enquires are taken by the volunteers at the Visitor Information Centre on 01843 598750
Alternatively you can email an enquiry to: firstname.lastname@example.org
