Road Closure - High Street & South Eastern Road

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Scotia Gas Networks, it will be necessary to close part of High Street & South Eastern Road, Ramsgate, from 13th July 2026 with estimated completion by 24th July 2026.

High Street will be closed at the junction of South Eastern Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
South Eastern Road will be closed at the junction of High Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via South Eastern Road, A255 Park Road, Chatham Street, High Street, Cannon Road and Ellington Road.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Ellington Road, Grange Road, A255 Park Road and South Eastern Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing gas works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Scotia Gas Networks.
