Road Closure - York Street

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Southern Water, it will be necessary to close part of York Street, Ramsgate, from 3rd August 2026 with estimated completion by 7th August 2026.

York Street, Ramsgate, will be closed outside number 17 to outside number 1, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Queen Street, Leopold Street, B2054 Royal Parade and York Street. 
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing water works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Southern Water.
