Due to works planned to be undertaken by Walker Construction Ltd, it will be necessary prohibit right turns & impose a mandatory 20MPH speed limit on part of A256 Haine Road, Ramsgate, from 16th February 2026 with estimated completion by 21st July 2026.

Restrictions will be imposed to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
A256 Haine Road will have a mandatory 20MPH speed limit imposed. The speed limit will be imposed from A254 Pearce Signs Roundabout to the junction of A256 New Haine Road.
A256 Haine Road will have a prohibition of right turn imposed turning right onto A256 Haine Road from Westwood Cross car park.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A256 Haine Road.
A256 Haine Road will have a prohibition of right turn imposed turning right onto A256 Haine Road from the junction of Star Lane Link.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A256 Haine Road, A254 Pearce Signs Roundabout and A256 Haine Road.

The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing drainage works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Walker Construction Ltd.
