New Mayor of Ramsgate 2026 Home / About Ramsgate / News / New Mayor of Ramsgate 2026 07 May 2026 Following the Annual Statutory Town Council Meeting on the 6th May 2026, I am pleased to inform you that Councillor Raushan Ara, was elected as Mayor of Ramsgate for 2026–27, Councillor Jane Hetherington was elected as Deputy Mayor. Kim Hobbs, Mayor's PA / Administrative Assistant Councillor Stephen Albon was re-elected Chair of Ramsgate Town Council and Councillor Anne-Marie Nixey was re-elected Vice-Chair.
