Government grants to upgrade your home heating and insulation

The Great British Insulation Scheme
If your home isn't energy efficient (if it has an Energy Performance Certificate of D-G) and you're in Council Tax band A-D, you may be able to get a grant from the Great British Insulation Scheme. This applies whether you're a homeowner, a landlord or a tenant.

Home Upgrade Grants
The government’s Home Upgrade Grant provides energy efficiency upgrades for homes in Thanet which don’t have a mains gas supply.

If you're eligible you can apply for home improvements including free insulation, low carbon heating and clean heating systems.
