Kent Police Update - March 2021

Home / About Ramsgate / News / Kent Police Update - March 2021

05 April 2021

Kent Police 20.10.2017
COVID-19 has had a big impact on everything that we have done as a Police Force and as a town, but I think we have managed exceptionally well as a Force and as a town together.

It is nice to see people in the town especially with the demise of many high street shops and large out of town shopping centres popping up. COVID-19 has made people realise that small independent shops do need our custom and support.

Ramsgate, as many other towns, had to cancel many of its usual activities, which was such a shame for all the organisers and those that would have attended. But I am assured that many of these will be returning soon.

Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour will be celebrating its 200th anniversary of Royal status in September. This I am sure will be a super weekend for all ages.

We will be entering the South and South East in Bloom 2021 competition. I am hoping that by now we are well on our way to getting Ramsgate Blooming again after last year’s success, winning the SILVER GILT award. Check out the Facebook page Ramsgate in Bloom -

Ramsgate is such a wonderful community town, it has so many volunteer groups, whatever your interest, and a Town Council which goes above and beyond to keep our town welcoming for all.

There have been a few changes with the Ramsgate Police. Please see the list below:

PCSOs John Litchfield, Tom Rougvie and Duane Parsons
Central Harbour, Cliffsend, Nethercourt and Pegwell wards.

PCSOs Steadman and Greenleaf
Eastcliff and Sir Moses Montefiore wards.

PCSOs Smith and Vogle
Newington and Northwood wards.

PCs Hills and Proctor
Ramsgate Town.

Ramsgate Police Station is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. When the station is closed there is a yellow phone outside the front entrance that can be used, free of charge, to report any issues.

Incidents can be reported by phoning 101 or online via the Kent Police Website. If you see any crimes in progress, please call 999.
