Rooswijk Project
Ramsgate is going to be a hive of activity this summer as the base of operations for the international excavation of the Dutch merchant shipwreck - #Rooswijk1740 Project!

Locals and visitors will be able to experience the wreck excavation (without getting wet!) through our series of Public Events to be held in the Port of Ramsgate.

These events do not require prior knowledge or experience, just interest and enthusiasm!

#Rooswijk1740 Project is a joint endeavour by the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands and Historic England and these events have been arranged on their behalf by the charitable training organisation, Nautical Archaeology Society.
